Richer papers come from a mill with more than 25 years of paper-making behind it. This is who makes them, and what we believe a good paper should be.

Rolling is slower than most things we do. You choose the paper, fold the filter, build the roll, and for a few minutes nothing else is asking for your attention. It is a small ritual, passed from friend to friend and shared around a table, a porch or a fire.
In a moment like that, the paper matters more than people admit. It is the one thing you handle every single time. It should feel light in your fingers, roll cleanly and stay out of the way of what you are actually enjoying.
That is the idea behind Richer: papers that respect the moment. Ultra thin, sealed with natural Arabic gum, and made to burn slowly, so the moment lasts as long as you want it to.

The factory behind the paper
Richer papers are made at a factory in Guangxi Province, in southern China. A research team works on materials and process, a quality team checks the output, and most of what the mill makes ships overseas to customers around the world.
Small changes add up
The mill works to a simple belief: small changes make big differences. It says it keeps looking for cleaner production technology and better anti-pollution systems, with the aim of protecting forests from overexploitation rather than only growing output.
